Driving Direction

Travelling from Queenstown to Manapouri, stop off at the cafe on the corner at Five Rivers, their food is tasty and the art work work is well worth stopping to look at, open from 8am to 4pm.

Travelling from Dunedin to Manapouri, stop at the Eastern Southland Gallery in Gore, just after the roundabout on the right hand side, its a red brick building, The John Money Collection, Splendours of Civilisation, is truly an amazing collection of works that any major gallery would wish to have. Don't be put off because Gore is a small town.Open Monday to Friday 10 am to 4 30 pm weekends and public holidays. 1 pm to 4 pm.

About 8 km from Gore there is a small air field at Mandeville. Take a flight in a vintage plane , or just check out yesterdays planes and train. I love to fly in the open cockpit and feel the wind on my face. check out www.croydoniarcraft.com
